Traditional Eastern Arts

Naropa University offers only undergraduate degrees in their Traditional Eastern Arts concentrations, which includes concentrations in Aikido, Tai-Chi and Yoga. Bataan Faigo is the head of the Traditional Eastern Arts program and I find this interesting because, Bataan Faigo is not only experienced with the ways of Naropa University, he actually did several of the interviews in the Party.

Aikido

Naropa University has forged a relationship with Boulder Aikikai to teach it’s advanced Aikido classes (after Aikido IV). However, all of Naropa University’s lower-level Aikido classes are taught at the Nalanda campus and Naropa University’s Aikido teacher is June Blitz.

Tai Chi

Bataan Faigo is the teacher of the Tai Chi program.

Yoga

Naropa’s Yoga concentration and Teacher Training program do not have the availability of depth that the Aikido or Tai Chi concentration but they are a certified program by Yoga Alliance that offers a RYS-500 certification.
