The exit process is a very difficult one and it is wrought with stress and frustration. This is especially true if you have a child that is unwilling to leave Naropa University. Spiritual abuse comes in a number of different factors and it is designed so that even though the member of the group is being abused, they still have a strong enough connection to the group to keep them there for a much longer time than necessary.
However, since Naropa University operates like a cult, it is important to remember that getting someone to leave Naropa University would have to be done in gradual steps.
